penwoodfurniture.com is operated by Penwood Furniture, a family-owned Canadian furniture maker with showrooms in Morriston, Ancaster, Oakville and Collingwood, Ontario. You can reach us at info@penwoodfurniture.com or through our contact page.

Our furniture is handcrafted to order from solid hardwood. When you order, you choose the specifications of your piece, including wood species, stain, finish, size, hardware and upholstery where offered. Please review your selections carefully before placing your order; your piece is built to them.

Solid wood is a natural material. Grain, colour, knots and mineral streaks vary from board to board and from the photos and samples shown, and wood colour naturally changes with age and light. Screen colours also vary between devices. These variations are part of the character of real wood and are not defects.

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or product information; if an error affects your order we will contact you before proceeding, and you may cancel for a full refund.

Some pieces and configurations are priced on request. A quote is not an order and is not binding until you accept it and payment is arranged.

Online orders are paid in full at checkout by credit or debit card, or with financing through Affirm where offered (subject to Affirm's approval and terms). Card details are processed securely by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers. Your order is confirmed once payment is accepted.

Lead times are estimates and vary by piece, builder and selected options; we confirm your timeline with your order. Delivery fees, zones and pickup are described in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Ownership and risk pass to you when your order is delivered or picked up.

Because every piece is custom built for you, orders may be cancelled only within two business days of being placed, and we do not accept returns or exchanges except for manufacturing defects, which are covered by our lifetime warranty on materials and craftsmanship. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, marks from daily use or accidental damage.

The content on this site, including text, photography, designs and logos, belongs to Penwood Furniture or its licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without our permission.

Tools such as Design Your Set and the Room Visualizer produce AI-generated previews to help you imagine a piece in a space. They are illustrations only and do not represent the exact colour, scale or appearance of the finished furniture.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Our use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, Penwood Furniture is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or our products, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect when you place your order applies to that order.
