Clearance Doesn't Mean Compromised
Every piece in our clearance section is the same solid hardwood furniture we build for full price. Floor models are display units that have lived in our showrooms — they may have minor handling marks, but they're the same full-thickness maple, oak, walnut, or cherry construction as any other Penwood piece.
Discontinued lines are pieces we're no longer ordering — not pieces we're returning because of quality issues. We discontinue styles when we update our catalogue, not when the product fails.
Any clearance piece can still be refinished, repaired, and passed down like any other solid wood furniture. The longevity doesn't change because the price does.
