The Centrepiece of Your Home
Custom Solid Wood
Dining Tables.
A dining table is the most-used piece of furniture in most homes — the place where daily meals, holiday gatherings, homework, and family conversations all happen. It deserves to be built right. Our custom dining tables are built to your exact length, width, height, and species — by Mennonite craftspeople in Ontario who build nothing else.
Six Styles
Choose Your Dining Table Style
Every style is available in any of our seven wood species and 30+ stain colours. Custom dimensions are standard — not an upgrade.
Farmhouse / Shaker
Seats 4–14Clean lines, square-tapered or turned legs, breadboard ends. The most versatile style — works in traditional and contemporary interiors equally.
Trestle
Seats 8–16X-base or A-frame trestle legs with a central stretcher. Strong visual anchor for large dining rooms. Ideal for long tables over 84″.
Pedestal
Seats 4–8Single or double central base with no leg obstruction at the corners. Maximum seating comfort, especially with round or oval tops.
Live Edge Slab
Seats 4–10A single solid slab with one or both natural edges preserved. Each table is completely unique — no two slabs share the same grain or edge profile.
Extension / Butterfly Leaf
Seats 6–12 extendedA self-storing butterfly leaf mechanism built into the table base. Extends 12–24″ for entertaining, folds away flush when not in use.
Parsons / Mid-Century
Seats 4–10Clean geometric forms, angled or tapered legs, minimal apron profile. Suits contemporary and transitional dining rooms.
Sizing Guide
How to Size Your Custom Dining Table
The standard rule is 24 inches of table width per person, and 30 inches of table length per person on the long sides. For comfortable seating without crowding, add 6 inches per side. Our craftspeople can build to any dimension — the most common custom request is a table 10–20 inches longer than what's available in standard catalogues.
Standard dining table height is 30 inches. We also build counter-height tables at 36 inches (for bar stools) and custom heights for clients with specific ergonomic needs. Leg clearance under the apron is typically 26–27 inches — important if you're pairing with upholstered chairs.
